Eastman Lake is located approximately 28 miles northeast of Chowchilla. The lake contains 1,780 surface acres of water in the oak covered rolling foothills. The lower two thirds of the lake is open to boating and fishing during daylight hours, including an hour before and sunrise and after sunset. The buoyed off upper one third area is closed to all boating and fishing at all times.

Camping is available at the lake accommodating both tents and RV's; hook-ups and group camping available. Power boats are permitted and launching facilities are available. Eastman Lake is a designated trophy bass lake with a one bass limit per day, 22 inch minimum size. The angler will find bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie and seasonal trout.
